The Sterling by Music Man MAJ270XSM has a nyatoh body finished with a luxurious spalted maple top, the grain of which is clearly visible through the subtle burst of the lacquer coating. A matching 3-piece nyatoh neck has then been set in to place the highest frets within easy reach, and a two-point tremolo bridge and set of locking tuners have been fitted to ensure the level of tuning stability demanded by contemporary guitarists. To add that all important edge, the electronics section also includes a 12dB volume boost that's activated by popping the push/pull control pot.
